Decoding Black Hole Outbursts: A Quest for a Universal Explanation
“Black holes, in their diverse sizes from stellar remnants to galactic giants, are known to produce energetic flares and outflows. This paper explores the possibility that these seemingly disparate events are governed by a common underlying mechanism. It revisits existing models and identifies areas needing refinement to better explain these cosmic outbursts across all scales.
Presenting a revised framework centered on magnetic reconnection, this work proposes a more consistent way to understand the physics driving these phenomena. The model incorporates zone-specific parameters and updated scaling relations, which have been tested against a range of observational data, including recent findings from JWST, EHT, and IXPE, as well as gravitational wave data from LIGO.
The results suggested that this unified approach offers a better fit to observed black hole activity compared to previous models. By addressing inaccuracies in earlier work, this research aims to provide a more reliable foundation for understanding the fundamental processes behind black hole flares and outflows, offering predictions that can be further tested with future astronomical observations.”
